the urge

Some days I get this feeling deep down in my soul. And when I get this feeling I have to get the Nikon and drive somewhere beautiful to capture someone, some animal, some sunset....  just something to satisfy my urge. These pictures were taken on an evening like this. The photographs turned out so beautiful I wanted to post them on here. I need another evening like this in my life soon... Maybe after finals.

This wonderful couple has been dating for 9 years!!! They are truly so in love and we enjoyed every second shooting their engagement pictures. We wish them all the happiness in the world! 

the reason I decorated before Thanksgiving

This year's the first snow came early for us in East Tennessee and I LOVED IT! I grew up in Alabama so I can count on my hand how many times I have actually seen snow that stuck to the ground. Once I woke to to this in early November, It was Christmas time in my head. I started shopping for gifts, listening to Christmas music, and even put up our inside decorations. The only thing left to do is cut down a tree and hang the lights outside. We are following some what to tradition and saving those two thing for next weekend.  Happy Holidays Y'all!

This beautiful, sweet, pregnant couple are our wonderful next-door neighbors. They are some of the nicest people we have ever met and are so blessed to be living right next door to them. They are expecting a little girl to arrive any day now and we had such a fun time shooting their session. We wish them all the happiness in the world. They are going to make such great parents!

my sweet tooth

Added to my list of passion is baking! I have a huge sweet tooth and I satisfy it weekly by baking delicious desserts for my husband and me. Try not to get too hungry :-)

These shots were taken back in August. I took these the day after my oh-so-sweet-brother-in-law proposed to one of my long time best friends. They were so sweet to be my guinea pigs for my first engagement session. They are such a goofy and fun couple! We love them with all of our hearts!

This is my dear cat Chaco. He is no longer with us here in East Tennessee... nope he didn't die, My step-dad Tim fell in LOVE with him. So now he is down in God's country (Tuscaloosa Alabama) with my mom, Tim and little sister! I love taking photographs of pets.
